The Free Library of New Hope and Solebury is pleased to make Kindle e-readers available to our patrons for borrowing.

 

1. Borrowers must be adults (age 18 and older), possess avalid  Bucks County Free Library card and be members in good standing with the library.

2. The borrower must show either: A) a valid driver’s license; or B) another form of photo I.D. plus proof of address (e.g. a gas bill). Borrowers must also sign a borrowing agreement.

3. A cardholder may borrow only one e-reader at a time.

4. An e-reader and its accessories may be borrowed for three weeks only. E-reader renewals are not permitted.

5. E-readers must be picked up from and returned directly to the The Free Library of New Hope and Solebury Circulation Desk to a library staff member. E-readers dropped off at other libraries or returned in the book drop will incur a $25 fee for unncessary risk to the device..

6. Patrons who violate the terms of the Borrower Agreement may have their privilege of borrowing library e-readers suspended or revoked.

   Are you looking for the hottest new title but find yourself relegated to a waiting list? If it's available in an e-format, we'll get it for you! Tell the staff what you are looking for and you can borrow it on one of our Kindles immediately---no waiting.

 

* Test Drive a Kindle:

   Thinking about purchasing a Kindle but not sure if you'll like it? Our staff will be happy to download a title from our e-library to a Kindle for you to take home and enjoy.

 

* Library at Your Fingertips:

   For readers who devour books, we offer Kindles preloaded with several titles---all in one light little 5X7 package!
